Shipping Policy

Local Delivery Only

Hans Greens delivers exclusively within our local service area in Northern Virginia. We do not ship products via carrier. All orders are delivered directly by our team within 24 hours of harvest.

Delivery Area

We deliver to addresses within our local delivery zone. To confirm your address falls within our delivery area, enter it at checkout. If your address is outside our zone, you will not see a delivery option available.

Delivery Days

Deliveries go out on Thursdays and Fridays. Orders placed after our weekly cutoff will be scheduled for the following delivery window.

Delivery Notifications

You will receive a text notification the morning your order is out for delivery, and a second notification once it has been delivered. Make sure your phone number is entered correctly at checkout to receive these updates.

Upon Delivery

Our microgreens are a living, perishable product and are most vulnerable to heat and sun immediately after delivery. You are responsible for bringing your order inside promptly upon delivery. If you will not be home, we recommend leaving a cooler or insulated bag with an ice pack at your door so your greens stay fresh until you retrieve them. Hans Greens is not responsible for quality issues resulting from orders left outside for extended periods after delivery.
